Yan Shihong

Graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1991 and achieved master’s degree in the major of electrometallurgy. Currently he is the Vice Director of National Engineering Research Center for Rare Earth Materials and Deputy Vice General Manager of Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd..

Prof. Yan Shihong was engaged in the R&D of metallurgy process and equipments of Rare Earth metals and alloys, as well as RE metallurgy application fundamental theory and engineering technology for a long term.

Prof. Yan Shihong is also the director of China Rare Earth Society, Expert group member of China Rare Earth Society, Director of Rare Earth Fire Metallurgical Specialized Committee, Standing commissioner of Journal of Chinese Rare Earths, etc.
